Isn't it possible to do something to avoid the russian spams we get everyday ?
(messages such as Âûêóï, ñðî÷íàÿ ðåàëèçàöèÿ òàéìøåð - ñåðòèôèêàòîâ.)
It starts to be very annoying...

rofl... you're attracting spammers! :P

one word of advice would be to have users register before they can post... and in order to register... tehy must validate their emails + they have to enter the 6 digit code or 7 digit code or whaterver it is???

Unregged users should do the 'digit thing' once per session or something if they want to post.

Well guest need to read the captcha to post (unless that change was somehow reverted durring a phpBB update). It looks like real people are posting the spam messages ... or some kind of evolved bot. (some even register)

Btw, people are more than welcome to volunteer to become a forum moderator.
