Wouldn't it look better if it was something like:



At least as a start. Where click on the link starts the default browser and click anywhere else on the about dialog box closes it.

good idea We could even come up with a graphic featuring more than the cone logo. Any one have an idea ?

Many other projects has great succes in starting different contest to find a logo, a new about dialog etc. A similar one could maybe be started if there is need for it.

Dionoea, do you have something particulary in mind when you say featuring more than the logo?

well a bigger image with the cone logo and other stuff (stuff about video, audio, music, streaming ....)

You generally don't care about the details of what the program you are using is. You generally know that.

Yes, but it should still say breifly what it is. The dialog is about the program, not about it's copyright, the copyright is just one of the things that describe it.
