OK this is what i think does not mean you think so,
but the main problem on videolan is that is a very complex project because is very powerful especially with command line options and different syntax for each OS and depending on your IN for example is different CD or dshow and so on each one with it´s on options,

so on the new page I would place a couple of combo boxes to get first OS then IN then and according with that it´s options , etc then your OUT for example udp unicast with ip or multicast and so on and at the end of all that selection you have on a text box your command line options ready for copy an paste, I really appreciate that more than any new design
It is like the vlc really does when you check options changes his chain on top.

I don't make that because I'm steal learning command line options.....

What you basically want is a simple way to configure streaming? If that's it, we are planing "streaming profiles" for the next version which would kind of acheive the same goal.

I actualy want an options selection to get COMMAND LINE, and that is becouse I dont think you can make so many streaming profiles as combinations you coud, and this is what hapend to me, when I wont to streem from my capture device I have to change country, resolution to rgb 24 and size to 352x288 and channel and dont kow what else, I`d love to open all that from a bat whith command line options, but I can`t make that, i meen does not work...and also have seen that many options are available whith command line only but is really hard to learn how to use command line also
