Issues I'm Facing:
1. Mandatory Username Field: When trying to post a question, I'm required to fill in one or several usernames. However, I don't know anyone on the site.
Q1: Why isn't there an option to target a specific group, like "macOS users"? This would help me find users with similar issues, like my question: "How to reduce the size of any movie to around ±800MB in VLC on macOS?"
Note: Thanks to confirm that recipients are the same as usernames.
2. Finding the 'New Topic' Button (option/choice): I've searched extensively but cannot locate the "New Topic" button. The help guide mentions it, but doesn't explain where it is or how to access the appropriate page.
Q2: Could you provide clear instructions on how to create a new topic, especially within the group "VLC media player for macOS Troubleshooting"?
3 Private Messages: Out of frustration, I used
MyProfileName>User Control Panel>Private message>Send message to reach out to administrators.
However, I received no response after a week.
Q3: How can I make my message public or at least visible to the “VLC media player for macOS Troubleshooting” group?
4 Attaching Images: The input window offers many features, but I can't find a way to include a screenshot, which would clearly illustrate my issue.
Q4: How can I include an external picture in my post?
