VLC 3.0 release notes?

The major version number is bumped, but not even a line of comment on the web site.
Or is it well hidden?

Related: in the webpage menus on the top, there is no mention of http://www.videolan.org/news.html
It is only listed at the bottom of the page.
That way it is not easy to find.
