Ver. Don't Match sourceforge.net & videolan.org

Postby Glenn108 » 20 Oct 2010 21:30

1st let me say great program! Great Job everyone.

Anyway, I trust sourceforge.net and have always gone there to get updates.
Mostly because I don't want to DL some modified spy/malware version.
Open Source also mean open verification. :)

It concerns me that the DL version here that links back to sourceforge.net at:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/vlc/fil ... e/download
found on/from http://www.videolan.org/vlc
is not the same as what you would find searching for "vlc" at sourceforge.net;
http://sourceforge.net/projects/vlc-mp/files/
found on/from vlc-mp.sourceforge.net
I put this same post at: https://sourceforge.net/projects/vlc-mp ... ic/3906037
