Version number for currently-available GNU/Linux?

Postby MarEden » 31 Aug 2010 17:40

The download page for GNU/Linux versions seems to have no identification by version number? Is this possible?

Or, having asked this much, is there a roadmap somewhere on the VideoLAN site? I've just been in a discussion about the equalizer not holding its settings between sessions, and from what I saw there is hope for the next version to have this implemented. But without a roadmap, or even the current version, this is a bit difficult to watch for ... :?

If you want to watch for a bug: every known bugs are store on the bugtracker trac.videolan.org/vlc
For Linux, we do not control wich version every distribution will use so we cannot give any version number. If you donwload the source code it will allways be the latest release.
