Well, it is the official VideoLAN logo. As the cone is the official VLC logo.

We could keep the VideoLAN logo for members of the VideoLAN group and have a special logo for non VideoLAN team members moderators. (I'm also considering doing some fine tuning on the moderators' rights to limit access to the full admin control panel)
