Fedora Core 4 x86_64 soon?

Postby Dark Reality » 19 Jun 2005 06:30

I've just installed Fedora Core 4 x86_64 and I was wondering when that version would be available, as the download pages only show FC3 and previous. :)

Thanks in advance. ;)

FC4 versions will be available with the furthcoming 0.8.2-release within the next 2 weeks. I don't know whether our maintainer will create x86_64-version as well though.

only 32 bit binaries, and his source RPM won't build on x86_64 FC4

you could try building those yourself :) (works great on debian) BTW, make sure that you're using gcc-3.4 and not gcc-3.3 when compiling for amd64
