Joining .ts files

I've searched the forum on how to join .TS files together and haven't found anything. does anyone know how to join multiple .TS files into one file. Any help would be appreciated... BTW I'm on a Mac.

Something like this?
"cat filename1.ts filename2.ts filename3.ts > Output.ts!

It will merge the files, but I have no idea if you`re able to play the output file.
