Hello!
Can the stream comming from VLS be played with a player which acts as a browser plugin (real player, quicktime or something else) ?

VLS can only output MPEG2/TS.

WMP is able to read that with some extra codecs.

However, be aware that vlc comes with a mozilla plugin for linux / windows / MacOSX

VLC is able to stream in MPEG1/2/4 using http / mms, etc...
