Videoconferencing with a museum, sorry for the double messag

Postby rutger » 03 Mar 2005 13:10

Hi,

I'm helping a museum to do a videoconference with a group of childeren in a classroom. It will be a very basic setup whereby the person from the museum transmits video and audio. From the classroom with childeren one audio stream will be send back.

The childeren will all be behind one screen, so there are NO multiple users. They just have to fight for the microphone.

Can I use VideoLan to facilitate this type of communication? Interaction is important so their should be almost now delay. Maximum a one/fith of a second.

The quality of the video and audio should be nice. The person in the museum would like to show all kind of details of a stuffed bird.

Thanks in advantage.

Rutger
