VLC with WINTV PVR usb2 MPEG2 encoder device ?

Hello,
I've bought the MPEG2 encoder video capture device wintv pvr usb2 (with TV tuner). When I use VLC (with windows2000) for recording TV on the hard disk of my computer it doesn't work (the pictures are very bad) whatever the outstream format I select on VLC and on the video capture(MPEGTS or MPEG1...).

Could someone help me with that ?

On the contrary VLC works perfectely when I use it for recording DVD from the DVD driver of my PC to the hard disk.
