Surround output using Jack Router in OS X

Hi,

Can anybody help me work out how I can output 5.1 from a DVD in VLC using Jack Router on OS X? Surely there must be away to assign each discrete channel of audio to a separate Jack channel?

No this is not possible at the moment.
Please look into the many posts about how broken our OSX audio plugin is at the moment, and that we don't have anyone to fix it.
