cannot watch DVDs

Hi,

We cannot play any kind of DVDs with VLC. We receive this error message every time. It happened after 5 monthes since we had started to use VLC. Would you tell us what to do?

access_file: cannot open file /dev/disk2 (Device busy)

We use Mac OSX 10.3.7, 1GH Power PC G4. We are not particularly good at computer. I appologize if I ask the same question someone has already asked but this list was not well categorized....

It looks like another application is holding exclusive access to the DVD drive. Find out which and stop it. It is not possible for two different programs to access the same DVD simultaneously.
