video plays parts of deleted vids when viewing a new part

I find that, sometimes, it plays parts of vids I have already deleted. How is this possible, how can I stop it and, where are the old deleted parts being stored so that I might get rid of them?

VLC does not store anything at all.

this happens to me also when I preview a video on emule. Sometimes poronography will play over the part that hasn't downloaded yet! It's embarassing. I mean if someone else was to preview a file on my computer they may see a glimpse of the deleted videos I deleted from my computer weeks ago. It's weird. I wish there was a fix for this, but then again it does save me time downloading porn, ha.
