How many streams can VLC or VLS serve?

Hi, anybody can tell me how many streams can VLC or VLS serve as a server side? I tried VLC, seems it can only serve one stream.

To initiate multiple streams from the same instance of VLC, you need to use the vlm area of VLC. do a little bit of searching and you'll find some information about it.

After that, it's mostly your CPU/IO capacities that will determine the limit i think..
