Building a Home VideoLAN

Postby janp » 02 Nov 2004 08:46

I am planning to build a VideoLAN but I have some questions:

Can you put more then one DVB-S card in one server? I am planning to have multiple Nova-S with CI in one server to distribute the main 6 channels in my country on my network.

Other question is if somebody has experiance with a DVB-S card in combination with VideoLAN but then a card that has a CI on the same PCI board? The Nova-S has a separate CI board that costs one extra PCI slot. I can use the Nexus-S but then you need to place the floppy station alike CI in your case. If you want to have six that is a real problem.
