Great Player

Running VLC on both Linux and Windows (dual boot machine). Best media player available for Linux that I know of. Good job!

Noticed a difference in DivX playback quality between the two systems, however. Under Linux, there seems to be no anti-aliasing -- lots of jaggies. Under Windows, using the 3.11 alpha divx :-) codec, frame images are smooth as silk. Any way to build a better divx codec into VLC? Or is it some other problem?

Also would be nice if VLC could play midis. Would then be a nearly universal media player.

More related to the videocard drivers and output methods i think. Since VLC uses the same codec no matter what the OS is.
