Using VLC to stream to Kreatel STB

Hello,

I'm trying to stream an mpeg-file from my server with VLC to a Kreatel 1500STB (IP-based).
Is there anyone with experience in doing this kind of stuff?
I'm able to stream to my computer. I read the stream there with VLC, but logically I can't install this on the STB...
What should I do to make the stream readable to my STB?

For most set top boxes, you need to stream in MPEG-TS with mpeg1 or mpeg2 video. I think the audio should be mpga but i'm not sure.
