Can vlc receive the output stream of darwin server ---

Postby zeropoint » 03 Feb 2004 04:33

Dear experts,
Since Vlc supports rtsp/rtp/rtcp, and darwin server and helix real server also does them, Whether vlc may receive the output stream of them?

Thanks!

VLC can receive streams from darwin server when the latest live.com library is used. recent darwin streams are not compatible with the 0.7.0 support, however this will be fixed in 0.7.1

VLC can receive helix content, however, when it is Real media content, VLC cannot play it. There is no opensource implementation of these codecs, therefore VLC cannot use them.
Don't use PMs for support questions.
