How do I show playback FPS statistics?

Simple question: How do I show the FPS statistics while playing a video file( dropped frame, avg FPS, etc)


This usefull while playing HD files.

I looked around and I did find how to do it.

that isn't available. (fps) All other info is available in debug messages if you run vlc with the -vvv option.
