Postby LePsy666 » 26 May 2004 08:24

Hi...
I've got a problem with VLC, I've instaled the 0.7.1 version and it works perfectly until yesterday. This morning, I've lauch a sympathic video of a japanese band of singer in underwear but It doesnt works. I've tried to launch VLC from the command line and it returns me :

[root@XXX root]# vlc -v
VLC media player 0.7.1 Bond
[00000001] main vlc warning: cannot load module `/usr/lib/vlc/gui/libkde_plugin.so' (/usr/lib/vlc/gui/libkde_plugin.so: undefined symbol: _ZN11KMainWindow4showEv)
[00000001] main vlc warning: cannot load module `/usr/lib/vlc/gui/libskins2_plugin.so' (/usr/lib/vlc/gui/libskins2_plugin.so: undefined symbol: xmlTextReaderConstName)
Erreur de segmentation
[root@XXX root]#

What can I do ?

Thanks in advance...

I finally re-install VLC ad it re-works but when I launch it by a command -line, I still have the same message. What does it mean ?

It means that you don't have the right versions of kde and libxml installed.
