Screen Grabs - Help OSX

Postby Guest » 26 Mar 2004 14:12

I run a G3 i-book with OSX, and am enjoying VLC - one question, how can I do screen grabs to use in photoshop, for example? I can see the 'select all' and 'copy' commands in the menu, but they're not active - hope someone can help.

First, you pause the video. After that, you use the global shortcuts for screenshots. They will create pdf-files on your desktop, which you can convert to normal picture-files to use them with Photoshop. The shortcuts are command-shift-3 (for fullscreen) and command-shift-4 (for selecting a specific part of the screen).

The copy, etc. commands in the menu are not usable for that.
