Hi,
I am using videolan to stream video across a network. Is there any tool which is compatible with Vlan to test the quality of the received video? Also, what are the tools available to objective evaluation of video. Thanks

If you mean streaming across a network, thats quite simple.

Just install VLC at both ends (can be two laptops/comps)

use UDP to stream the file stored one one machine using the ip address of the other
