vlc-0.7.1 stream output bug report

Postby ronald » 04 Mar 2004 10:48

hello,

I have a problem with the stream output on vlc-0.7.1 :

OS : redhat 9
processor : via C3 (X86 compatible)
compiled from sources , with lidvbpsi3, libmpeg2

I have tried to stream a dvd ripped file (.VOB = MPEG2-P) with 3 audio tracks and some subtitles with the command line :
vlc /ps2:<file.vob> --sout udp:224.1.1.1 --sout-all

The stream output worked perfectly (with all audio tracks and subtitles), but after a few second vlc crashed with a segmentation fault message.
I tried with the same command line and vlc crashed immediately with the same error.
I tried again and vlc worked perfectly two minutes then crash again with the error.

Do you have the same problem with other OS (debian for example) ?

I don't know how to include backtrace. If you want backtrace, tell me what to do.

Thanks

Ronald
