The Linux and Windows interfaces are exactly the same, thank God wx exists and lets us do that.
The only thing that might change is device names. For example, a dvd is called /dev/dvd on a Linux box and D: on a windows box. Again, all this is already stated in the documentation.
Or, you can buy a Microsoft Streaming Server, pay for it, and ask for technical assitance. I'm not sure it will either work better or be user-friendlier.
