Run vlc --extraintf=http under Linux

Postby chris78 » 27 Nov 2003 21:56

Hallo,
I use SuSE 9.0 and I have Installed the VLC client. Now I will run the client with flowing options "vlc --extraintf=http"
In the terminal, I get this message:
chris@Mallorca:~> vlc --extraintf=http
VideoLAN Client 0.5.2 Natalya
[00000148] main interface error: no interface module matched "http"
[00000148] main interface error: no suitable intf module
[00000001] main vlc error: interface initialization failed

VLC starts but the web function doesnt run.

What can I do?

Code: Select all

urpmi libdvdcss2 libdvdplay0 wxvlc vlc-plugin-a52 vlc-plugin-ogg vlc-plugin-mad

i think 0.5.2 didn't even have a http interface yet.
Don't use PMs for support questions.
