i am trying to install vls on linux kernel 2.6.1
i did not understand what lib's i need and what are already in the kernel

You need to compile dvb drivers in the kernel, and libdvb-0.2.2

Rhen use --enable-dvd --with-libdvb=/pat/to/libdvb --with-dvb=/path/ti/kernel/sources
