Multi Nova-T DVB-T tuner card support

Postby totallymaxed » 11 Jul 2005 16:04

We would like to build a Debian 2.6.x server with 4 Nova-T DVB cards for streaming live TV. Could someone who has experience of getting Nova-T cards working under Debian/VLC please explain what we need to do to get this configuration working.

We have installed one Nova-T card inside our test machine but VLC fails to see it. If anyone with some experience of VLC/Nova-T/Debian could point us in the right direction we would be very grateful!

Thanks in advance.

You need to compile your kernel with the right DVB-T drivers (cx88 or something like that). You previously need to patch your kernel with the patch from bytesex.org .
