Ithink it's not only a problem of low resolution but also
-a problem of optimization in order to keep real time processing capabilities in embedded environment (low CPU, others important and background tasks such as GPRS telecom stack...)
- a "problem" (time) of integration in an other OS environment. Linux is used in cell phone (Simbian for example) but in embedded version and many others often propriatary.

VLC should take advantages of its modular architecture but the 2 goals above are not
trivial to reach. It requires will & time !

Do VLC team plan to do it ?
