Installing VLC on Mandrake 10.1

Postby Tom87 » 11 May 2005 14:50

Hi all !
I'm using Linux since yesterday, and I would like to install VLC, because I use it on Windows too.
The problem is that I receive errors when I use urpmi : (french version)

vlc-0.8.1-7.1.101plf.i586 (en raison du manque de vlc-plugin-a52-0.8.0-0.test2.2mdk.i586)
vlc-plugin-a52-0.8.0-0.test2.2mdk.i586 (car liba52.so.0 est non satisfait)
vlc-plugin-mad-0.8.1-7.1.101plf.i586 (en raison du manque de vlc-plugin-a52-0.8.0-0.test2.2mdk.i586)
vlc-plugin-ogg-0.8.1-7.1.101plf.i586 (en raison du manque de vlc-plugin-a52-0.8.1-7.1.101plf.i586)

I haven't found liba52.so.0...
Somebody can help me :?:

I've used easy urpmi to configre my mdk 10.1 and 2005LE systems so that they were able to completely install vlc and vls without issue.

try using http://easyurpmi.zarb.org/ and selecting for your mdk version and locale, and using what it generates for updates
