Please help! Problems backing up VCDs with VideoLAN...

How do you use Nero ROM to back-up VCDs which have VIdeoLAN on them? I get "Virual Basic/C++" error mesages every time. Using latest version of VideoLAN and XP (SP2) and Nero v.6.
