Can't play DVDs in WinXP Pro with vlc 0.81

Hi

I can't seem to get vlc 0.8.1 in WinXP Pro to play DVDs. It plays other files fine. Also if I go and find the .vob files on the DVD it (sometimes) plays that .vob file. However if I go "Play Disc" it never works. I can get these DVDs to work with PowerDVD on my computer so it is not a problem with the DVDs. I had the same problem with an older version of vlc (0.7 something) and upgraded to 0.8.1 because I thought it might fix the problem.

Open Messages before doing an Open Disc, see what error messages appear. If it never plays a DVD via Open Disc, check the Drive letter specified -- VLC defaults to D:, if the drive happens to be E: that would explain it.
