aacplus/he-aac stream

Postby Ed Castro » 28 Dec 2004 07:14

Hello guys...

Tried to find with no luck, but how do I see if VLC is actually playing an stream as a aacplus/he-aac? On the console it simply tells me that an m4a demuxer is being started and shows the stream as its a common mpeg4 stream. 1 channel, 22khz. Looks like it's ignoring the SBR part of it...

Any clues?

VLC uses the faad decoder. As far as i understand this does the he-aac as well.
