Looking for Info about SVCD.TELESYNC files

Postby zydecos » 21 Sep 2004 23:48

Firstly, VLC is FANTASTIC on my Ti laptop. It has opened just about everything that I've thrown at it.
Now the question:
I have seen a few SVCD.TELESYNC files out there. One that looks interseting has a DVDSCR.XVID-DMT extension. Interesting, but scary for a Mac person.
They are movies mostly, around 700mb to 2 gb. Any Mac person using VLC to view these files? I don't want to waste my time downloading if it won't fly. And as a side, would you know if Toast will burn a Video CD(not a DVD) to play the movie on DVD player.
Many thanx to a great forum and community.
