Hi, gapless has been recently rebased on latest changed and might be suggested again on the mailing list for merge soon. Crossfade is not yet a thing though.

A Crossfade option ASAP would be cool. Spotify and mediamonkey have this feature, spotify even let's you adjust the time. Makes it listen to music more smooth and seamless between tracks.

silences and freezes depends on the your music storage device speed.
There is no crossfade in VLC for now (3.0.X), unfortunately.

Iam using VLC to listening music. I want to disable all silences, freezes or crossfade when I go to a new track and when I seek on a track.
