VLC 3.5.3 on Android TV 11 Plays Some .mp4 Videos with Frozen Video

MECOOL KM2 Plus Android TV Box, Android TV ver 11. VLC loaded from Google Play I have a very large number of TV shows archived as .MP4 files - all have always played perfectly with multiple devices, including VLC on my W10 computer and Android phone. With this new Android TV Box, SOME of those .mp4 ...

VLC 3.5.3 on Android TV 11 Cannot Play DVD .iso Menus

New Android TV Box: MECOOL KM2 Plus running Android TV 11. I loaded VLC from Google Play: ver 3.5.3 I have a large number of commercial DVDs stored as .iso copies on my NAS. I have tested 5 or 6 of them with VLC on this Android TV Box, and the menus do not function properly on any of them. On some, ...

Re: Blu-Ray Support

I am having the same issue, with the same error message. I have Windows 10, installed the 64-bit VLC player. I put the libaacs.dll file in the VLC folder, along with vlc.exe and put the KEYDB.cfg file in C:\ProgramData\aacs\ as instructed. I had to create the aacs folder to do that. Restarted my co...

Re: Blu-ray Menus

An update - I tried 64 bit VLC - still have the same problem. If I open a disc with menus turned off, the programs play fine, but clicking on the menu button just starts the disc over from the beginning. If I open a disc with menus enabled, nothing will play. in VLC 32, nothing happens at all when I...

Re: Unable to play unencrypted Blu-Ray ISO file

I do not think Blu-ray discs have the normal DVD .iso. Check out DVDFab's free virtual drive software - it lets you create what they call a .miniso file that allows normal mounting and playback.

Re: Some Do, Some Don't...

I do not know where you are, but perhaps it is the region code? Default Blu-ray region set in VLC is "B", which is Europe. Americas is "A". Most Blu-ray do not have region codes, but maybe those do?

Re: Play Blu-Ray Disc Movie with VLC in Windows 8 64-bit/32-bit

I know this thread it titled for W8, but I use W7 and W10 - Since W10 is very much like W8, I thought I would include my experiences so far. First, I had no problems enabling Blu-ray support by using the info from http://vlc-bluray.whoknowsmy.name/ I do have DVDFab software installed on all my compu...

Blu-ray Menus

I did a search on the title words and could not find this discussed for Windows, so starting a new thread - my apologies if it has been covered and I just could not find it (seems like it really should have been addressed already). Anyway, I am running 32 bit VLC 2.2.2 on W7 and W10 machines. I have...

Re: Blu-Ray Support

Late to the party here, but thought I would just post this FYI: I had no problems at all enabling Blu-ray support on both W7 and W10 machines (all running 32 bit VLC (ProgramFiles (x86), ver 2.2.2). I used the downloads and instructions at http://vlc-bluray.whoknowsmy.name/ . Note that the location ...

Reading AVCHD discs

I create AVCHD discs using Total Media Extreme 1.0.9.9. Total Media Theater plays these AVCHD discs without problems But using VLC Media Player, I cannot open these discs as "disc". In both W7 and XP SP3 I can open the disc as a folder and play the video, but I cannot open the disc. Is thi...
