Here is what I did: I opened VLC, went to Tools -> Messages. The Messages tab is selected and is blank. I set Verbosity to 2.

Then I tried to play the .xspf file and got the error window but nothing appeared in the Messages window.

Now what am I doing wrong?

I could not find the logs so I searched the forum and in another thread I found: Open Tools -> Messages (set Verbosity to 2)
but when I do that, it is a blank window. Am I looking in the wrong place?
