Re: New version updates status?

In fact, the latest version is 3.6.0 Beta and nightly updates are available. I have reported minor bugs and gotten them corrected in the Nightlies, which I download about once a month. Download the latest at your own risk from this directory or a sibling for your device's architecture. https://arti...

New version updates status?

Is VLC for Android still being developed? Or put another way, are there any new versions being planned for? I ask because as far as I can tell, the latest version is 3.5.4 and it was released almost 16 months ago.
Curiously yours,

Looking for a list of KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS…

… the more compehensive, the better. If anyone can point me to such a list⸺if indeed, one exists⸺I'd be most grateful.

Many thanks,

Re: VLC android custom settings export import backup restore

Years ago, I asked this question for the Windows environment. And the forthcoming answer pointed me to the right place — in a file or registry entry; I don't recall the specifics. CORRECTION ☞ "And the forthcoming answer…" ▴▴▴ further reflection suggests the above sentence is inaccurate a...

Re: Backing up and restoring Equalizer Settings

https://forum.videolan.org/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=162478 Lotesdelere– Thanks so much for pointing me to the referenced and very relevant thread (above). I recently posted a follow-up clarification to that same thread for anyone who is interested in this particular line of inquiry. Thanks again… —...

Re: VLC android custom settings export import backup restore

Unfortunately, the app doesn't provide such a feature . Aza– I recently posted a related question pertaining to EQ settings and Lotesdelere was kind enough to point me to this thread. So it seems like a clarification here might be the more sensible place . . . I wasn't looking for a feature per sé;...

Re: Backing up and restoring Equalizer Settings

Not whining really… and not criticizing or even complaining… just remarking… This seems like a pretty straight-forward question: •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• "Is there a way to back up my [EQ] settings and then restore them … after I've completed a re-install?" It's just that I'm a...

FireTV might not have gotten the release, possible.
Good to know. Going forward, this will motivate me to proactively check for new updates. Thanks again for your help. —Thri

Re: VLC for Android TV - Play all songs in a folder?

by Jean-Baptiste Kempf » Tue Jun 26, 2018 8:41 am Fixed. Nice!! Thanks.  ¶  Not sure if this is worth mentioning or not, but usually FireTV prompts me regarding the availability of new updates for any given application. And I think when I got prompted and installed 3.0.10, that's when I lost the fi...

Re: VLC for Android TV - Play all songs in a folder?

Lotesdelere » 25 Jun 2018 16:04 It's already available. Great! I wonder where I can get this from; i.e., when I go to this page , http://www.videolan.org/vlc/download-android.html , it indicates the download will be for 3.0.10. Well, it looks like I found them here: http://get.videolan.org/vlc-andr...

Long click on a media, then select "Play all". It's a bit broken right now, but fixed for next update (3.0.11).
Any idea when 3.0.11 will become available?

Running VLC on Windows7/64-bit

Thinking of migrating from WinXP/32-bit to Subject: version. Will/should this work okay? Wouldn't want to be without VLC or with VLC-with-problems (if running Win7/64). Thanks. --Thri
