running Fedora Core 3, vlc version 0.8.2, libdvdcss 1.2.9 Looks like the vlc can read the dvd at some level. This is on a dvd open with menus. There are messages about finding the VOB's. The message window lists 9 titiles and chapters for each title. the message log from vlc -vvvv has error messages...
