My video Now plays from Qnap for 1st time ever in VLC

UPDATE : ALSO WORKS fine WITH BETA Version 3.0.0-git Vetinari (Intel 64bit)

July 2014 Qnap Nas (new 2014) stores surveilance videos in an .avi format as mentioned above, Qmp4 format. Only once you try to play the .avi does it reveal its a Qmp4 format and it cant play it as mentioned here http://www.tweaking4all.com/qnap/qnap-surveillance-video/ ive NOT tried its suggestions...

my JVC camera outputs .Mod files I was amazed to find that VLC played recognised them I transcoded one file into H.264 format using VLC player and the quality is superb But it seems only able to transcode one file at a time How do I do say 5 files at a time.
