Cool, but how about if I want to associate say avi with one eq setting and say mp3 with another eq setting. Would shortcuts mean that I have to open VLC and then browse to the media? If I want to double click on any file and have it open the right eq settings, wouldn't I need two installs with two p...

Or is it possible to install 2 versions under different folders and use one for audio and one for video?

+1 it's insane that this basic functionality was't built in from the start... still nothing rivals Windows Media Player having to press ctrl+p instead of space to pause. Microsoft c an be proud of that

Hey guys, I think a keyboard shortcut to rewind 30 seconds and fast forward 30 seconds would be really cool (I got the idea from the same function on the iphone podcast). Very useful for skipping tv intros etc.
