Re: Fast Foward = Lost in Sound

This is still a problem with 1.1.11 and MKV files. The one I just saw it on had A52 audio 48kHz 192kb/s if that matters.

Re: cant skip scenes without losing sound

I have seen the same problem. Mostly with x264 playback on any files. If I skip at all in either direction the sound is gone for 8 seconds and then plays normally. This happens on both of my Macs and is broken in 1.1.8. It was fine in 1.1.7.

Re: VLC 1.1.3 on OSX 10.6.5 Losing Sound After Sleep

It never happened to me before the 10.6.5 update from the other day and it happens all of the time now.

Re: Stuttering playback on the Mac? Try this!

I've got the impression that VLC for OSX has a huge problem with memory leakage, it seems to use all available RAM to map the whole movie clip while you are watching it. The explanation to this could be that it is a requirement for making it possible to start the clip where ever you want, without h...

VLC 1.1.3 on OSX 10.6.5 Losing Sound After Sleep

Since the update to 10.6.5 if I have a paused video file (usually x264 mkv) after coming out of sleep the sound does not play at all unless I stop the video and restart it. This never happened before the new OSX update from yesterday.
