Hi, Another question.
Can I set that resolution as a default for the webcam so I don't have to set it each time I open the program?

Hi. Got it. Setting needed to be 640*400. I guess the Video camera will not support any higher resolution.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Thank You. But I don't know which ones to change, and to what.
I've looked under the advanced options and tried typing a value e.g. 800*600 size into the box, but it says that video web cam does to support it.
I guess it's simple once you know how. Thanks again.

Setting display window resolution

Hi, when I start VLC media player, and open my webcam the display is awful. Very ""blocky". Tools/Codec information gives a resolution on only 160*120. There must be some easy way to correct this but I don't know how. Other programs (eg. Skype or Debut) that use the webcam show really...
