I put my vote in for the frame backwards feature. I have a heck of a time trying to get to the right point when i try to back up to see something. I would also love to have a finer control when moving forward or backward. I remember years ago having a multimedia player with a control that looked and...
I think they should just have a feature that you can select to convert both the video and the audio. Forget about the transcode parts. Just make a feature to convert both the video AND audio.
vb ab values of transcode part? What is a transcode part?
Why doesn't it just do the conversion with both audio and video? Or just have an option to pick for audio and video?
I would like to also add that the converted file is of poor quality. When VLC chooses audio to convert it stops and starts and pops. When it chooses video the video stops and starts and pixilates. These problems are not playback issues they are part of the output file
It would be nice if VLC could convert and stream both the audio and the video rather than it picking only one or the other. Either that or remove these features as they are pretty useless unless they do both the audio and the video.
Ok I found it under advanced open (its on the file tab not under advanced options). You have to check the "Play another media synchronously...) and then a browse button appears that lets you select the audio file. Then you have to go to the audio menu and select track 2 (I thought it wasn't wor...
I have an AVI file that has bad audio. There is a seperate mp3 file that contains the corrected audio. How do I get VLC to use the mp3 audio rather than the audio in the AVI file?
VLC is great but there are some screwy things about it and the record feature is one of them. I believe that if you have not done anything with the convert/save feature your recording ends up in my documents (I am not sure though) If you have done anything with the convert/save feature then the reco...
The biggest problem I have with VLC aside from a lot of crashes is that often times when using the frame by frame feature the picture freezes. Hitting play or stop does not work and VLC has to be closed and re-opened. There are also some crashes where after VLC is closed it still remains running in ...
OK here i go again this is the second time posting this this board does not seem to be accepting my posts. VLC save recordings in whatever directory was last use with the save/convert feature. So if you want to change the record directory you have to do the following: 1) place small multimedia file ...
Actually a recorded file could be placed in any directory on your system. I found out the hard way that it picks up the last directory used for the convert/save feature. So if you want to change what directory the recorded file goes to you have to: 1) Place a small multimedia file in the desired dir...
I am using 1.1.2 I am afraid of upgrade hell, so I do not upgrade unless there is overwhelming reason to do so. I have also read of a lot of crash problems with 1.1.4
The record button does nothing. No files are placed in My Documents.
There are no settings in preferences on this feature.
There is nothing in the docs about this feature.
Therefore it is not a feature of VLC. It is just a button that does nothing.
