I often cut and re-encode videos with avidemux to h264 in a mkv container. Avidemux is so awesome, that it writes "Movie name : Avidemux" into that file and VLC Player will show "Avidemux" instead of the file names for all these files then. Can't even change this with mkvmergeGUI...

You know, I like the feature that VLC shows album arts. NOW make it work please or else I'll go crazy. Seriously this is so annoying... I'll try to help to fix the issue but in the meantime, why don't you add an option (err.. make it default too) to simply not store/cache the pics in the appdate fol...
