I need a skin or skins which has the snapshot and record buttons, please.
I found this skin AlienwareVLCInvader but it is too "exotic" for my requirements.

VLC can play the menu audio but there is no menu picture showing.

Lotesdelere, I appreciate your help very much. I'm sorry to disappoint you but it will not play. I am trying to play one of my home made DVDs, authored with Pinnacle Studio 12.1. I don't usually have this problem.

Lotesdelere thank you for your reply. I already had the setting as you explained. However some DVD menus still will not play. All I get is a black screen.

I have VLC v.202. When I try to play an authored DVD the menu will not play and keeps looping with a black screen. I have no problems with WMP 11

I have a DVD movie with 3 audio tracks. VLC is mixing track order. For example track 3 should be track 1.

That's pretty stupid actually. You'll only make the image file larger with no better quality.

That will do nicely for my needs. I need to have larger dimentions than that given by the player snapshot standard setting .

Is it possible to set the player to calculate the snapshot of the picture frame size, width X 2 and height X 2 ? To get a biger picture.

OK. I found the solution: Width 720 X 2 and Height 0. 0 will give the correct aspect ratio.

Please, I need a skin somthing like WMP11_B but with record and snapshot buttons.

Whenever I open a movie in a skinned player, I always get the player to open at the top, left corner of the screen.
I would like to have a skin that would behave like the one on the Native (Default) Style. This remains fully open each time I load a movie.

I don't think there is any easy solution if overlay shows wrong colors.

That's what I also think too. The funny thing is that WMP 11 has no problems. But if I have to use WMP, I would be missing out on all the nice features of the VLC player.

Thank you again for your patience and help. Overlay and YUV ->RGB must remain active otherwise I will have no picture on the TV. The problem begins when I change source from mpg to avi or vice versa. If I disable overlay there will be no picture on the TV.
Please note that the picture on the computer is always good. But the on TV is being shown like a negative. This happens mostly when I change the file format, from mpg to avi.

Deactivate overlay in preferneces.
