My HDD isn't broken because it's brand new.
Besides any other application that uses the HDD works just fine,just a few minor hiccups.

Playback issues.
Hey everybody 
When i start VLC,i load a video stored on an external HDD.It runs fine for a couple of minutes.But then it just freezes up.
And the only way to stop it is to reboot my external HDD.
I don't want to reboot my HDD everytime i want to watch a video.
Any solutions for this ?
