Hi, when I play 10 bit mkv videos I seem to get no video. I have sound but no video. I've watched 8 bit mkv versions in the past which worked perfectly fine but now that fansubbers have upgraded to 10 bit, I can't get any video. Please help, thank you.

Interesting, cause I had this problem even in the previous version. Any solutions out there?

hi, my vlc is updated to the latest, i run a macbook pro. every time i want to go to a new scene, ill lose my sound (silent) and then regain it in a minute of normal playing. what is the problem/solution. thanks.

hi, sorry for reviving an old thread but i have the same problem. im running 10.6 os as well as 1.1.3 VLC. im mainly having this problem with .mkv files. i dont think i ever had them with avi. thanks for any help

Once I fast forward an .mkv file, I lose sound, and I have to close and reopen the video for me to get sound again. On the side note, I am also getting a little distortion on some .mkv files. It usually happens when an 'intense' action scene occur. I don't think my cpu is not strong enough, it's an ...
